Course Description

The Youth Physical Development (YPD) centre at Cardiff Metropolitan University was founded in 2014 by Professors Rhodri Lloyd and Jon Oliver, leading experts in youth strength and conditioning. The YPD centre was developed to provide evidence-based athletic development programmes to young athletes (aged 8-18 years). The aim of the YPD centre is to provide age-appropriate athletic development sessions to children and adolescents to develop their physical fitness, improve sports performance, reduce injury risk, and increase their self-confidence. All staff within the YPD centre are fully qualified youth specialists, with extensive backgrounds in working with youth. The athletic development programmes delivered in the centre are based on high quality research produced from the centre, resulting in the YPD centre being known as one of the leading providers of S&C for young athletes in the UK.

 

 

Please note that you are paying for the whole term ( £6 x 10 session = Total of £60), if your child cannot make one of the session, you are still paying upfront for the whole term.
