It’s beginning to look like Christmas in the Hospitality Suite of Cardiff School of Management…. 

It is that time of year when we host our student-led Christmas lunches in the Cardiff School of Management, Hospitality Suite. The lunches will be run on Thursday 5th & 12th December and will be cooked and hosted by our first-year International Hotel and Hospitality Management students.  

We will be running two sittings at 12 noon and 1 pm on Thursday 5th December and Thursday 12th December

 

What’s on the menu? 

The 3-Course Christmas Lunch Menu for £21.95 with a complimentary glass of fizz

Starters

Spiced Parsnip Soup, Parsley Oil and Artisan Bread
Smoked Mackerel Pate & Sourdough Toasts

 

Main Course
Roast Turkey OR Mushroom & Chestnut Wellington
Served with: Homemade Stuffing, Pigs in Blankets, Brussel Sprouts, Honey Roast Vegetables, Red Cabbage, and Cauliflower Cheese

 

Dessert
Christmas Pudding with Brandy Sauce 
Clementine & Rosemary Posset with Marzipan Crumble

CSM Level 5 Tourism Students Field Trip to Amsterdam April 2025

Field Study to Amsterdam for Level 5 Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management students completing the core tourism module NICHE TOURISM which is planned for 7-10 April 2025.

Currently the student contribution to the total cost of the trip is £300 which can be paid in two instalments,

In order to register for this compulsory field study activity, you will need to pay the first instalment of £100.00 before 5pm on Friday 29th November 2024.  Please have your passport information to hand as you will be required to complete an online travel form - this will take 10 minutes to complete. 

If you are a British Citizen and hold a British passport or you are a EU Citizen with a European Union country passport you do not require a visitor's visa to visit Amsterdam.  Please check the following link https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/netherlands/entry-requirements,  Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months after the date you plan to leave the Netherlands (check the “expiry date”).

It is your responsibility to check any visa restrictions for your nationality as stated in your passport.

The second instalment of £200.00 is due by 5pm on 31st January 2025.


What is included in the trip?

Return Flights from Cardiff Airport to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (direct flights – including 15kg checked-in luggage). Flight times will be shared with module leaders at a later date.

Return private airport transfers in the UK from Cardiff Metropolitan University (Llandaff Campus).

3 nights Bed & Breakfast accommodation at The Generator, Amsterdam.

Cultural Activities as per itinerary.

Should there be any reduction in costs, this will be passed on to students after the trip.

CSM Tourism Field Trip to Belfast: 20th-24th January 2025

Description

Field Study to Belfast for Level 6 Tourism Management students completing the core tourism module HLT6056 Destination Stewardship and Resilience which is planned for 20-24 January 2025.

 

Currently the student contribution to the total cost of the trip is £350 which can be paid in three instalments.

In order to register for this compulsory field study activity, you will need to pay the first instalment of:

£150.00 before 5pm on Monday 30th September 2024

Please have your passport information to hand as you will be required to complete an online travel form as well as health and university conduct questionnaires.
 

It is your responsibility to check any visa restrictions for your nationality as stated in your passport.

The second instalment of £100.00 is due by 5pm on 31st October 2024.


The third instalment of £100.00 is due by 5pm on 29th November 2024.


What is included in the trip?

Return Flights from Cardiff Airport to Belfast City Airport (direct flights – including 10kg checked-in luggage). Flight times will be shared with module leaders closer to the date. 

Return private airport transfers in the UK from Cardiff Metropolitan University (Llandaff Campus).

4 nights Bed & Breakfast accommodation, in Vagabonds Hostel, Belfast

Cultural Activities as per itinerary including visit to the Titanic Experience and a Black Cab Tour
